Health For Children Clinic founded to help children affected by lack of good healthcare system.​ Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) poses a significant challenge in Low Middle Income Countries, especially in sub-Saharan Africa. Approximately 500,000 children in Africa are born with CHD each year, with a significant portion occurring in sub-Saharan Africa. ​




What Are CHDs?
They are the most common type of birth defect, affecting about 1 in every 100 babies born in the United States. The prevalence of CHDs varies from country to country, but they are more common in developing countries. CHDs can range from mild to severe, and some can be life-threatening.​
